Multi-Dimensional Lighting™ 
Now you can sculpture light, in multiple dimensions, blending diffused and non-diffused illuminations from different directions. The VerteX™ can project multiple, discrete, steerable light sources from a single flash. Target Bouncing™

Multi-Purpose Panels™
Each VerteX™ panel has two sides. One side diffuses light, while the other projects specular light, for the ultimate bounce. The VerteX™ panels can be used either one or two at a time. They are adjustable, detachable and interchangeable, with just one hand. These panels can also function as “blinders,” to control light spills.

Expanded Available Angles 
Swivel heads are designed specifically to bounce light from various angles. But this does not always include the particular angle you need at a given moment. Combining the agility of the VerteX™, together with your existing flash unit, virtually all angles become available.

Extended Wireless Triggering  Triggering optically controlled slave flashes can be tricky when they are out of the master flash's line-of-sight. This becomes even more challenging out of doors, in conditions of bright sunlight. The VerteX™'s ability to steer light makes it possible to extend the range and usability of the common coverage cone (the distance and angle from which the master unit can communicate successfully with the slave). Efficient & Effective Use of Energy  Mastery over the light output is key to energy efficiency and lighting effectiveness. The VerteX™ controls the throw of light, without blocking, filtering or weakening it, as is the case with many translucent-type diffusers. In this way, a significant energy savings is realized. This translates into longer battery life, faster recycle time, higher f-stop (better depth-of-field) and lower ISO options, helping you go "green" with your flash photography.

OEM Insert Pack 
Contains two high-efficient mirrored inserts and two non-specular, neutral white inserts. The mirrored inserts are coated with real silver on both sides, limiting light loss to only 1/3 f-stop. Compare this to a typical translucent-type diffuser such as the Gary Fong Lightsphere, WhaleTail, StoFen Omni-Bounce, Lumiquest Ultrasoft, UltraBounce, (Mini) SoftBox or Big Bounce, which loses from 2 to 4 full f-stops of light! Our mirrored inserts facilitate longer battery life and faster recycle times, allowing your camera to operate at higher f-stops and lower ISOs.
